The main activity of the Company is to provide clients with investment advice tailored to their investment profile. Investment advice is provided through the platforms of internationally licensed brokers: Interactive Brokers, TradeUltra, EXT LTD. Our bank account is opened in MIGOM Bank.

The Company’s second line of business is the provision of investment management services for the Cresco Absolute Return Fund, also through internationally licensed brokerage platforms.

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF FUNDS

The return of the analysed funds is negative and varies in the range from -5.1% to -27.2% for the period from the beginning of October 2018.

The analysis shows that the yield of bond funds for the period, ranged from -2.0 to 1.1%.

The average yield of these funds is about -10% for the period under review.

The positive result was achieved thanks to a hedge position on a declining stock from the S&P500 index, a bet on a decline in oil and a well-built risk management system.

ANOTHER CHALLENGE

This year has become another test for asset management companies. During the year, almost none of the class instruments showed their growth.

In the summer of 2022, our team adapted to the changed market and increased volatility and switched to trading options on company shares and ETFs for volatility.

As can be seen from the chart, TLT shares have fallen by 30% over the year, despite the fact that historical bonds are considered one of the most conservative instruments. The ARKK Fund, which invests in high-tech innovative companies, has fallen by 60% in a year. The S&P 500 is down 15% by December.

OWN LIQUIDITY STRATEGY
As part of our risk management and the fund's investment declaration, we were unable to implement this idea, but we were able to do it on dealer accounts and individual accounts.
On March 19, 2020, stock market indices fell from the maximum mark by:
  • S&P500 — 28.85%
  • Nasdaq — 25%
  • Russel 2000 — 37,58%
  • Euro Stoxx 50 — 36,51%
  • FTSE 100 — 30,92%.
The ideas
There is a high probability of a strong growth in the market capitalization of companies in the sectors that have lost the most in price over the March 2020: airlines, hotels, casinos, cruises and construction companies.

The shares of key companies in these sectors can win back the falls and show growth from current levels by 50-100%. The market shares in the portfolio is from 2.5-5% in each Stock.
Similarly, there may be a significant payback in the shares of medium-cap companies, which have depreciated the most. This scenario can be implemented through the purchase of iShares Russell 2000 ETF (10-20% of the portfolio) and through the purchase of Invesco QQQ Trust (10-20% of the portfolio).
A more conservative idea today is to buy dollar corporate bonds (and ETFs on them), which have fallen in price by about 15% since the beginning of the year. This can be offered as a separate idea in bonds with the opportunity to earn 20% per annum in dollars. This opportunity is extremely rare: once every 10 years.
2019 was a successful year for the entire industry, but let’s consider the 2020 period in more detail

Dealer funds were located on two accounts with different brokers, so it was necessary to implement a complete investment strategy. As can be seen from the graphs: excellent return and no drawdowns along the yield curve, unlike the market as a whole.

Most of the performance was brought by the ideas described above, plus, several of the Fund's substratologies brought enormous returns.
